BARA·MED offers an Air Break Assembly for use with all of our monoplace hyperbaric chambers.
This accessory includes a flow-through oronasal mask and the Life Support Technologies facial cooling system, both equipped with flow meters and air/oxygen connections. The air break assembly facilitates the periodic interruption of oxygen breathing using a lightweight, disposable mask that supplies medical grade air during this period. The oxygen flow from the cooling nozzle has been found to improve thermal comfort and help patients relax.
Oxygen Mask Assembly for earlier versions of BARA·MED BARA-MED Monoplace Hyperbaric Chambers
BARA·MED offers an oxygen mask assembly for use with earlier versions of our monoplace hyperbaric chambers. The oxygen mask assembly consists of an external medical oxygen hose with oxygen DISS fittings for chamber exterior and interior and a demand regulator and mask assembly.
The system is intended for use with sterilization masks connected to the regulator. It can be adjusted between demand and free-flow operation. The system can either be connected to the BARA·MED gas supply panel (GSP-100) or other suitably equipped sources of medical grade oxygen.
Note: If the compression gas used to pressurize the monoplace chamber is anything other than 100 percent oxygen, BARA·MED strongly recommends that a monitor be fitted to the chamber to confirm the contents of the internal atmosphere.
